Yes, you may be able to do it on your own … but will you?  If you were going to do it on your own, wouldn’t you have done it by now?

 

How long does it take?

It all depends on you and how involved you are in the process.  Each client has a unique blend of needs, challenges, priorities and preferences which are taken into consideration.  But generally, the easier it is for you to make decisions about your belongings the faster the project goes.  The size of the space or project is also a determining factor.

 

I’ll bet mine is the worst you’ve ever seen. 

We hear this a lot!  Yours is most likely not the worst mess we've ever seen. We see homes on all ends of the spectrum. We see homes that are littered with belongings and papers every day. We also see perfectionists who just want to be a bit more organized. It is difficult for many people to successfully manage the demand of daily life.  There is no shame in being disorganized. Our goal is to partner with you to understand your unique challenges and identify solutions for improved quality of life. We treat all of our clients with due respect.  Our purpose is to help, not judge.

 

How Does it Work?

We begin with a phone consultation about your situation.  I ask questions to understand your goals for getting organized and what you want to get organized.  We will make one of two types of appointments:

1. A needs assessment to determine a plan of action and supplies needed.  With the recommendations provided in this session, you can proceed with the project on your own, or hire me to fulfill all or a portion.

2. Hands-on: we get right to work, usually in half-day increments (three-hour minimum).

 

Do you provide maintenance for established clients?

Yes.  Consistent maintenance is the best prevention to the re-invasion of clutter.  I work with clients on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual contract.

 

What if I’m not in your geographic area?

If I can’t help you due to geographics or availability, coaching by phone can be very effective in starting and completing your organizing projects.  Great for those who need a new perspective and accountability.
