If you are not planning to move, we provide services to make your current home more “user-friendly” with home safety assessments reports.

Service Provider Recommendations

For our clients, we’ll make arrangements with or referrals for the services of other quality professionals as your needs dictate. These services may include an appraiser and estate sale coordinators, real estate professional, remodeling contractor to make home modifications to increase ease of independent living, and decorating services.

Estate Dispersal

Simplified Spaces also provides services for the dispersal of household belongings after the death of a loved one.

A death in the family introduces a whole new set of responsibilities, from removing personal belongings to the complete shutdown of an established home site. Daily responsibilities and distances can make these tasks seem even more overwhelming.

Simplifies Spaces can help make these tasks feasible, timely and cost-effective. Working under the direction of family members, attorneys or trust officers, we organize and distribute the estate according to your and your family member’s wishes. From the most simple sorting to arrangements for cleaning and home repair work, taking the pressure off already trying times is as easy as a phone call.

Simplified Spaces also offers individuals and families pre-planning consulting, providing direction for future dispersal of personal and household belongings.

We enjoy speaking to organizations such as senior communities, church groups, residential and retirement housing communities, trust officers and estate attorneys.

Popular topics include organizing and decluttering, preparing for the later life move and preparing your home for sale. We also present the award-winning workshop “Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate” designed to help families begin the process of transferring non-titled property such as furniture, jewelry and photos/memorabilia.

Fee for Service

Fees are based on hours expended, so the total cost will vary depending on the size of the move and the services you select. We will be happy to honor your budget and provide a cap on services provided to stay within your budget.
